# Snackpass vs Hanamaru Sushi

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Hanamaru Sushi at 80% against Snackpass's 26%. Hanamaru Sushi also leads on device support (3 vs 1). Snackpass's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.0) and ads (none vs shown). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Snackpass holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Snackpass has 10K ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 26% of Snackpass's written reviews are positive against 80% of Hanamaru Sushi's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Snackpass ships an update fortnightly, Hanamaru Sushi monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
