# Snackpass vs Tamelo

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Tamelo at 100% against Snackpass's 26%. Tamelo also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). Snackpass's advantage is ratings volume (10K vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Tamelo holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Snackpass has 10K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 26% of Snackpass's written reviews are positive against 100% of Tamelo's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 29, 2026 respectively.
