# TT RGB Plus vs SIM

The clearest difference is rating: SIM at 4.6 against TT RGB Plus's 2.6. SIM also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (445 vs 14). TT RGB Plus's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 24) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SIM sells 24 one-off in-app purchases. TT RGB Plus asks for nothing beyond the download.

SIM holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SIM has 445 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 27% of TT RGB Plus's written reviews are positive against 43% of SIM's.

TT RGB Plus ships an update every 2 months, SIM every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
