# Boggle With Friends vs WordSnap Timer

The clearest difference is review sentiment: WordSnap Timer at 75% against Boggle With Friends's 22%. WordSnap Timer also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and ads (none vs shown). Boggle With Friends's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 5 months). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Boggle With Friends sells 10 one-off in-app purchases. WordSnap Timer asks for nothing beyond the download.

Boggle With Friends holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Boggle With Friends has 45K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of Boggle With Friends's written reviews are positive against 75% of WordSnap Timer's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Boggle With Friends ships an update every 3 weeks, WordSnap Timer every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on November 7, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
