# Tourmo vs NFC Tools

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Tourmo at none against NFC Tools's 1. Tourmo also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). NFC Tools's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (14K vs 10). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NFC Tools sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Tourmo asks for nothing beyond the download.

NFC Tools holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NFC Tools has 14K ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 50% and 51% positive.

Tourmo ships an update every 2 weeks, NFC Tools every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 25, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
