# RBrowser vs OD browser

The clearest difference is monetization model: OD browser at free with in-app purchases against RBrowser's subscription. RBrowser's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.4) and review sentiment (89% vs 64%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RBrowser sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per 7 days and OD browser sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RBrowser holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RBrowser has 1.3K ratings behind it against 46, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 89% of RBrowser's written reviews are positive against 64% of OD browser's.

RBrowser ships an update every 2 weeks, OD browser every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 2, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
