# RBrowser vs Dark Browser

The clearest difference is review sentiment: RBrowser at 89% against Dark Browser's 32%. RBrowser also leads on rating (4.8 vs 4.4). Dark Browser's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 weeks). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RBrowser sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per 7 days and Dark Browser sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RBrowser holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.4. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.3K and 1.2K respectively. Written reviews point the same way: 89% of RBrowser's written reviews are positive against 32% of Dark Browser's.
