# RBrowser vs Amigo Browser

The clearest difference is rating: RBrowser at 4.8 against Amigo Browser's 3.4. RBrowser also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 15 months) and ratings volume (1.3K vs 80). Amigo Browser's advantage is monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and ads (none vs shown). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RBrowser sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per 7 days and Amigo Browser sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

RBrowser holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RBrowser has 1.3K ratings behind it against 80, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 89% of RBrowser's written reviews are positive against 83% of Amigo Browser's.

RBrowser ships an update every 2 weeks, Amigo Browser every 15 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
