# RBrowser vs Focus

The clearest difference is monetization model: Focus at free with in-app purchases against RBrowser's subscription. Focus also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (4.9K vs 1.3K). RBrowser's advantage is review sentiment (89% vs 54%). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. RBrowser sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $4.49 per 7 days and Focus sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for RBrowser against 4.7 for Focus. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1.3K and 4.9K respectively. Written reviews are what separate them: 89% of RBrowser's written reviews are positive against 54% of Focus's.

RBrowser ships an update every 2 weeks, Focus every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
