# Split Notes vs Super PDF

The clearest difference is update cadence: Super PDF at every 2 days against Split Notes's every 4 months. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Split Notes sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Super PDF sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Split Notes ships an update every 4 months, Super PDF every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
