# Notepad vs タブ式メモ帳

The clearest difference is rating: Notepad at 5.0 against タブ式メモ帳's 4.0. タブ式メモ帳's advantage is review sentiment (82% vs 54%). On price, ratings volume, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notepad sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and タブ式メモ帳 sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notepad holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 3 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of Notepad's written reviews are positive against 82% of タブ式メモ帳's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Notepad ships an update every 4 days, タブ式メモ帳 weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
