# Notepad vs BundleNote

The clearest difference is update cadence: Notepad at every 4 days against BundleNote's every 3 months. Notepad also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6). BundleNote's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 54%) and ratings volume (54 vs 3). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notepad sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and BundleNote sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notepad holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BundleNote has 54 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of Notepad's written reviews are positive against 80% of BundleNote's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Notepad ships an update every 4 days, BundleNote every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
