# Notepad vs AI Star

The clearest difference is device support: Notepad at 3 against AI Star's —. AI Star's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notepad sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and AI Star sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
