# Notepad vs QuickNote

The clearest difference is ads: QuickNote at none against Notepad's shown. Notepad's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs fortnightly). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notepad sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and QuickNote sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notepad ships an update every 4 days, QuickNote fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
