# Stellar Tour vs ASGuide

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: ASGuide at none against Stellar Tour's 6. ASGuide also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 84%) and iOS requirement (18.0 vs 26.0). Stellar Tour's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months) and ratings volume (1.7K vs 9). On price, rating, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Stellar Tour sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. ASGuide asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Stellar Tour against 4.8 for ASGuide. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Stellar Tour has 1.7K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 84% of Stellar Tour's written reviews are positive against 100% of ASGuide's.

Stellar Tour ships an update fortnightly, ASGuide every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
