# Manga Dogs vs Alpha CLOUD

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Manga Dogs at 52% against Alpha CLOUD's 0%. Manga Dogs also leads on ratings volume (1.8K vs 1) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Alpha CLOUD's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.1) and in-app purchases (none vs 3). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Manga Dogs sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $8.99 per 3 months. Alpha CLOUD asks for nothing beyond the download.

Alpha CLOUD holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Manga Dogs has 1.8K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 52% of Manga Dogs's written reviews are positive against 0% of Alpha CLOUD's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Manga Dogs ships an update every 3 weeks, Alpha CLOUD every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
