# 连城读书 vs 原耽漫画

The clearest difference is rating: 原耽漫画 at 5.0 against 连城读书's 3.3. 原耽漫画 also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs fortnightly). 连城读书's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and review sentiment (69% vs 35%). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. 连城读书 sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and 原耽漫画 sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

原耽漫画 holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: 连城读书 has 22 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of 连城读书's written reviews are positive against 35% of 原耽漫画's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

连城读书 ships an update fortnightly, 原耽漫画 weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
