# Spider vs Carnitrix

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Carnitrix at 75% against Spider's 20%. Carnitrix also leads on rating (3.8 vs 3.2) and update cadence (every 4 days vs monthly). Spider's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 2) and ratings volume (150 vs 5). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Carnitrix sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Spider asks for nothing beyond the download.

Carnitrix holds the better App Store score, 3.8 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spider has 150 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 20% of Spider's written reviews are positive against 75% of Carnitrix's.

Spider ships an update monthly, Carnitrix every 4 days. Both last shipped on November 5, 2026.
