# PTE Success vs QUT

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: QUT at none against PTE Success's 3. PTE Success's advantage is review sentiment (90% vs 59%) and ratings volume (517 vs 3). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PTE Success sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $11.49 per month. QUT asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for PTE Success against 4.7 for QUT. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PTE Success has 517 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 90% of PTE Success's written reviews are positive against 59% of QUT's.

PTE Success ships an update monthly, QUT every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
