# PTE Success vs CELPIP Prep

PTE Success and CELPIP Prep both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 90% of PTE Success's written reviews are positive against 10% of CELPIP Prep's. PTE Success also leads on ratings volume (515 vs 29). CELPIP Prep's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs monthly). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PTE Success sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $11.49 per month and CELPIP Prep sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for PTE Success against 4.8 for CELPIP Prep. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PTE Success has 515 ratings behind it against 29, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 90% of PTE Success's written reviews are positive against 10% of CELPIP Prep's.

PTE Success ships an update monthly, CELPIP Prep weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
