# Transformers Rescue Bots vs Rogue Functions

The clearest difference is rating: Rogue Functions at 5.0 against Transformers Rescue Bots's 4.5. Rogue Functions also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 10) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 9 months). Transformers Rescue Bots's advantage is ratings volume (49K vs 1) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Transformers Rescue Bots sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per year. Rogue Functions asks for nothing beyond the download.

Rogue Functions holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Transformers Rescue Bots has 49K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Transformers Rescue Bots ships an update every 9 months, Rogue Functions every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
