# Scores vs Simple Scoreboard+

The clearest difference is ads: Simple Scoreboard+ at none against Scores's shown. Scores's advantage is update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 3 months) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.6). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Scores sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Simple Scoreboard+ sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
