# Newk's Eatery vs FLCKN

The clearest difference is review sentiment: FLCKN at 100% against Newk's Eatery's 53%. Newk's Eatery's advantage is ratings volume (36K vs 15) and rating (4.9 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Newk's Eatery holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Newk's Eatery has 36K ratings behind it against 15, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of Newk's Eatery's written reviews are positive against 100% of FLCKN's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
