# BoxMagic vs Pollaya

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Pollaya at 52% against BoxMagic's 22%. Pollaya also leads on ratings volume (92 vs 3). BoxMagic's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.3). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

BoxMagic holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pollaya has 92 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of BoxMagic's written reviews are positive against 52% of Pollaya's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

BoxMagic ships an update fortnightly, Pollaya weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
