# Security vs iPraises

The clearest difference is review sentiment: iPraises at 71% against Security's 12%. iPraises also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 4 months). Security's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 3.8) and ratings volume (132 vs 5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Security holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Security has 132 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 12% of Security's written reviews are positive against 71% of iPraises's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Security ships an update every 4 months, iPraises every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
