# Security vs Avia Lighting

The clearest difference is rating: Security at 4.8 against Avia Lighting's 3.7. Security also leads on ratings volume (132 vs 3). Avia Lighting's advantage is review sentiment (50% vs 12%) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Security holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Security has 132 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 12% of Security's written reviews are positive against 50% of Avia Lighting's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
