# Memento vs One Task

Memento and One Task both sit at 4.4 stars, but that hides the real split: 81% of One Task's written reviews are positive against 61% of Memento's. One Task also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and price ($4.00 vs $5.99). Memento's advantage is ratings volume (313 vs 20) and iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.0). On rating, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Memento costs $5.99 and One Task $4.00 up front. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

One Task holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Memento has 313 ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 61% of Memento's written reviews are positive against 81% of One Task's.

Memento ships an update every 2 months, One Task every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
