# Clapphouse vs ForusApp

Clapphouse and ForusApp both sit at 4.7 stars, but that hides the real split: 83% of Clapphouse's written reviews are positive against 53% of ForusApp's. Clapphouse also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 16). ForusApp's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and ratings volume (165 vs 3). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

ForusApp holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: ForusApp has 165 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 83% of Clapphouse's written reviews are positive against 53% of ForusApp's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 2 months. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
