# DanceBUG vs Swagme

The clearest difference is rating: Swagme at 4.4 against DanceBUG's 3.5. Swagme also leads on iOS requirement (12.4 vs 15.0). DanceBUG's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 6) and ratings volume (893 vs 145). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Swagme sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. DanceBUG asks for nothing beyond the download.

Swagme holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DanceBUG has 893 ratings behind it against 145, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of DanceBUG's written reviews are positive against 33% of Swagme's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
