# DanceBUG vs Fox

The clearest difference is rating: Fox at 5.0 against DanceBUG's 3.5. Fox also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (weekly vs monthly). DanceBUG's advantage is ratings volume (890 vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Fox holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DanceBUG has 890 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

DanceBUG ships an update monthly, Fox weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
