# UBMe vs Tenex

The clearest difference is review sentiment: UBMe at 90% against Tenex's 33%. UBMe also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (29 vs 1). Tenex's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and in-app purchases (none vs 8). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. UBMe sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Tenex asks for nothing beyond the download.

Tenex holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: UBMe has 29 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of UBMe's written reviews are positive against 33% of Tenex's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UBMe ships an update every 3 weeks, Tenex every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
