# June's Journey vs Edgar Poe

The clearest difference is ratings volume: June's Journey at 328K against Edgar Poe's 3.8K. June's Journey also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and chart position (#11 vs unranked). Edgar Poe's advantage is review sentiment (65% vs 42%). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. June's Journey sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Edgar Poe sells 8 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

June's Journey holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: June's Journey has 328K ratings behind it against 3.8K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 42% of June's Journey's written reviews are positive against 65% of Edgar Poe's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

June's Journey ships an update every 2 weeks, Edgar Poe every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on November 4, 2026 and November 2, 2026 respectively.
