# Powerhitz vs MGM+

The clearest difference is rating: MGM+ at 4.8 against Powerhitz's 4.1. MGM+ also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 32 months). Powerhitz's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 10) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MGM+ sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Powerhitz asks for nothing beyond the download.

MGM+ holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MGM+ has 90K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 33% of Powerhitz's written reviews are positive against 36% of MGM+'s.

Powerhitz ships an update every 32 months, MGM+ fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 6, 2026.
