# Powerhitz vs Frndly TV

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Powerhitz at none against Frndly TV's 10. Powerhitz also leads on rating (4.1 vs 3.6). Frndly TV's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 32 months) and ratings volume (2.5K vs 9). On price, review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Frndly TV sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Powerhitz asks for nothing beyond the download.

Powerhitz holds the better App Store score, 4.1 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Frndly TV has 2.5K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 33% and 34% positive.

Powerhitz ships an update every 32 months, Frndly TV fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
