# WikiTurtle vs My Shark

The clearest difference is review sentiment: WikiTurtle at 80% against My Shark's 16%. WikiTurtle also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 20) and ads (none vs shown). My Shark's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 3.6) and ratings volume (932 vs 14). On price, update cadence and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. My Shark sells 20 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. WikiTurtle asks for nothing beyond the download.

My Shark holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: My Shark has 932 ratings behind it against 14, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of WikiTurtle's written reviews are positive against 16% of My Shark's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

WikiTurtle ships an update every 3 weeks, My Shark every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
