# Myft vs Mydas

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Myft at none against Mydas's 11. Myft also leads on iOS requirement (10.0 vs 13.0). Mydas's advantage is update cadence (fortnightly vs every 16 months) and review sentiment (100% vs 84%). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mydas sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Myft asks for nothing beyond the download.

Myft holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 58 and 45 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 84% of Myft's written reviews are positive against 100% of Mydas's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Myft ships an update every 16 months, Mydas fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
