# Wisenet Installation vs SecureGuard Client

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Wisenet Installation at 80% against SecureGuard Client's 25%. SecureGuard Client's advantage is rating (3.4 vs 3.0) and ratings volume (16 vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SecureGuard Client holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SecureGuard Client has 16 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Wisenet Installation's written reviews are positive against 25% of SecureGuard Client's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
