# EWA vs Ucha.se

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Ucha.se at none against EWA's 12. Ucha.se also leads on ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). EWA's advantage is update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (196K vs 47). On price, rating, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EWA sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. Ucha.se asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for EWA against 4.8 for Ucha.se. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EWA has 196K ratings behind it against 47, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 75% of EWA's written reviews are positive against 82% of Ucha.se's.

EWA ships an update weekly, Ucha.se every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
