# EWA vs Duo ABC

The clearest difference is ads: Duo ABC at none against EWA's shown. Duo ABC also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). EWA's advantage is ratings volume (196K vs 20) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). On price, rating, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. EWA sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month and Duo ABC sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per 3 months. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for EWA against 4.6 for Duo ABC. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EWA has 196K ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two.

EWA ships an update weekly, Duo ABC every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
