# Flash_Me vs Spectrum

The clearest difference is rating: Spectrum at 5.0 against Flash_Me's 4.0. Spectrum also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). Flash_Me's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 17.0). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Spectrum holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Spectrum has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Flash_Me ships an update every 2 months, Spectrum every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
