# Squigglish! vs SELPHY Photo Layout

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Squigglish! at 74% against SELPHY Photo Layout's 37%. Squigglish! also leads on update cadence (daily vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.0). SELPHY Photo Layout's advantage is ratings volume (23K vs 12) and rating (4.7 vs 4.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

SELPHY Photo Layout holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SELPHY Photo Layout has 23K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 74% of Squigglish!'s written reviews are positive against 37% of SELPHY Photo Layout's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Squigglish! ships an update daily, SELPHY Photo Layout every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on November 2, 2026 and November 5, 2026 respectively.
