# TestMaker vs ScanQuiz

The clearest difference is review sentiment: ScanQuiz at 100% against TestMaker's 61%. ScanQuiz also leads on ads (none vs shown) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). TestMaker's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (405 vs 7). On price, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TestMaker sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per month and ScanQuiz sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ScanQuiz holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TestMaker has 405 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 61% of TestMaker's written reviews are positive against 100% of ScanQuiz's.

TestMaker ships an update every 3 days, ScanQuiz every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
