# ALA vs Apptismo

The clearest difference is ads: ALA at none against Apptismo's shown. ALA also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). Apptismo's advantage is device support (3 vs 1). On price, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ALA sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Apptismo sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $29.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 18, 2026 respectively.
