# Santa Fe Connect vs EcoNet

The clearest difference is rating: EcoNet at 4.4 against Santa Fe Connect's 2.4. EcoNet also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (14K vs 13). Santa Fe Connect's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

EcoNet holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: EcoNet has 14K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of Santa Fe Connect's written reviews are positive against 15% of EcoNet's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Santa Fe Connect ships an update every 7 months, EcoNet every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
