# DropMint vs Foam

The clearest difference is update cadence: Foam at every 5 days against DropMint's every 3 months. Foam also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8). DropMint's advantage is ratings volume (141 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Foam holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DropMint has 141 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 96% of DropMint's written reviews are positive against 100% of Foam's.

DropMint ships an update every 3 months, Foam every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
