# Pathao vs NOVOAIR

The clearest difference is monetization model: NOVOAIR at free against Pathao's free with in-app purchases. Pathao's advantage is ratings volume (17K vs 12) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Pathao against 4.6 for NOVOAIR. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pathao has 17K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 21% of Pathao's written reviews are positive against 27% of NOVOAIR's.

Pathao ships an update fortnightly, NOVOAIR every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
