# Pathao vs Nepcab

The clearest difference is rating: Pathao at 4.5 against Nepcab's 1.0. Pathao also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (17K vs 1). Nepcab's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Pathao holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pathao has 17K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 21% of Pathao's written reviews are positive against 0% of Nepcab's.

Pathao ships an update fortnightly, Nepcab every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
