# Pathao vs Amar Trip

The clearest difference is rating: Amar Trip at 5.0 against Pathao's 4.5. Amar Trip also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Pathao's advantage is ratings volume (17K vs 1) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.6). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Amar Trip holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pathao has 17K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Pathao ships an update fortnightly, Amar Trip every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
