# GAP Flasher vs Land Rover Remote

The clearest difference is monetization model: GAP Flasher at free against Land Rover Remote's subscription. GAP Flasher also leads on iOS requirement (9.0 vs 16.4). Land Rover Remote's advantage is ratings volume (48K vs 5). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for GAP Flasher against 4.7 for Land Rover Remote. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Land Rover Remote has 48K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two.

GAP Flasher ships an update fortnightly, Land Rover Remote every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
