# FracPad Lite vs Torpedo Wireless Remote

The clearest difference is rating: FracPad Lite at 5.0 against Torpedo Wireless Remote's 3.6. FracPad Lite also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). Torpedo Wireless Remote's advantage is review sentiment (46% vs 14%) and update cadence (monthly vs every 5 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FracPad Lite holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Torpedo Wireless Remote has 33 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 14% of FracPad Lite's written reviews are positive against 46% of Torpedo Wireless Remote's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

FracPad Lite ships an update every 5 months, Torpedo Wireless Remote monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
